ESA members are now front and center on nFACT.

Your Electronic Security Association membership includes a free nFACT profile. Your ESA badge, your technician certifications as searchable filters, and placement above non-members when buyers go looking for a subcontractor.

Free with membership. Nothing to buy.

How buyers find you

A buyer filters to ESA. Everyone else disappears.

This is the part worth understanding. When a general contractor or electrical contractor narrows a search to ESA members holding a specific certification, companies without those credentials are not ranked lower. They are not in the result at all.

What your ESA dues already bought you.

The ESA badge on your profileFree

Buyers see that you are ESA before they see anything else on your record. We verify membership directly against ESA's roster, so there is nothing for you to prove or upload.

Your certifications as search filtersFree

CAT, CFAT, and CFAD appear as filters a buyer selects, not as text buried in a profile. Architects and specifiers write certifications into job specs; this is how a buyer acts on that.

Placement above non-membersFree

ESA member companies rank at the top of buyer search results. That preference is built into the ranking, not bought.

A verified company recordFree

Tax ID, DUNS, employee count, insurance, licenses, and service areas in one profile buyers already use to qualify subcontractors. Complete profiles convert more inbound requests than bare listings.

Onboarding help from a personFree

Where the work comes from

Buyers come from across the trades.

Large and midsized firms search nFACT daily for subcontractors on projects from data centers to retail rollouts. Many are companies that won a job carrying low-voltage scope and have no vetted partner to hand it to.

Credentials

Your technicians' training, made visible.

ESA credentials appear on your company profile as badges and as first-class search filters. A buyer whose spec calls for a certified alarm technician can filter the entire database down to the companies that have one.

Credential data comes from ESA. If what you see on your profile does not match your records, contact ESA at membership@esaweb.org and it will be corrected at the source.

ESA Member Resources

Keep your ESA information current

Your ESA membership and credential information displayed on nFACT comes directly from ESA. Keeping those records current helps make sure buyers see the right membership status, technician certifications, and qualifications when they search for your company.

If a certification is missing, an expiration date looks incorrect, or your membership details have changed, review and update your information through the ESA member portal. Once ESA updates the source record, those changes can be reflected on your nFACT profile.

Announcement

ESA and nFACT announce member partnership.

Dallas, TX September 8, 2026

The Electronic Security Association (ESA) and nFACT today announced a partnership that gives ESA member companies enhanced visibility on nFACT's marketplace for the commercial building trades. ESA member companies receive a verified member badge, display of ESA technician certifications as first-class search filters, and preferred placement in buyer search results.

ESA represents roughly 1,600 integrator and dealer member companies across the United States. Under the partnership, ESA membership and certification data is matched against nFACT's database of more than 30,000 service providers across 21 trade categories, so member companies are flagged and credited automatically rather than having to self-report.

Buyers on nFACT include general contractors, electrical contractors, mechanical and building automation contractors, and enterprise security teams sourcing qualified subcontractors for projects ranging from data centers to national retail rollouts.

Buyers on nFACT are trying to move fast and de-risk who they hire. Surfacing ESA certifications as a first-class filter means a general contractor or enterprise security team can find a vetted integrator in seconds instead of chasing down paperwork. This is exactly the kind of trust signal that makes the marketplace work better for everyone.
